Kendra's "Mary Poppins" bag
Just a quick post today.  We spent the morning finishing Annie Dillard's Pilgrim at Tinker Creek chapter "Seeing", reading a few more pages in Evidence... and some independent work.

This week both girls volunteered as mother's helpers at two different homes.  It was so much fun watching the girls prepare for the kids they'd be watching.  Each of them filled up bags full of fun and games like modern-day Mary Poppins.  When the girls were little we were blessed with so many fun babysitters, mothers helpers,  aunts & uncles and family friends, it's fun to watch the girls re-enact the ritual.

Speaking of modern-day Mary Poppins, Brian's sister is arriving to spend a couple of weeks with us.  Can't wait to see all the magic she'll bring with her!
